Executive Board
President
Alexis Araune
Alexis Araune is a fourth year Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Major on the Pre-Medical track. Her involvements outside of AMSA include being a PSY2012 TA, a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta and an undergraduate assistant in the Center for Translational Research in Neurodegenerative Disease. In her free time, she enjoys Just Dance, making music and paint-by-numbers. She looks forward to leading an incredible organization!
Vice President
Madison Cross
Madison Cross is a fourth year Microbiology and Cell Science Major with a Pathogenesis Minor on the Pre-Medical track. She is also in the UF Honors Program and International Scholars Program. Outside of AMSA, Madison is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Microbiology Lab, a section leader in UF Gator Band and a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, honorary band service fraternity. Additionally, she is a patient advocate and volunteer for the CARRA registry in the Shands pediatric rheumatology department, and she also conducts molecular biology and entomology research in the USDA-ARS labs at UF. During her free time, you can catch Madison traveling, spending time with friends and family, and at the beach!

Jaxton Oakey
Jaxton Oakey is a fourth-year Agricultural Operations Management major on the pre-med track. Beyond AMSA, Jay is a member of the UF Marching and Pep Band, serves as the social chair for AOM club, and TAs for microbiology lab. His academic and research interests lie within molecular biology and medical genetics. Outside of the classroom, Jay loves exploring nature, making music, and meeting new people!

Eileen Liu
Eileen is a third year majoring in Food Science on the pre-med track. Outside of AMSA, Eileen is on the Executive Board of the Food Science and Human Nutrition Club as the VP of Nutritional Sciences, an undergraduate teaching assistant for General Chemistry 1 and 2 with Dr. Sumner, an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Bin Liu's Lab researching the effects of calcium on cardiac dysfunctions, and a volunteer at UF Shands. During her free time and breaks, she likes listening to kpop and cpop, trying new foods, cooking, reading, and traveling.

Paige Doherty
Paige Doherty is a fourth-year Medical Geography in Global Health major on the Pre-PA track. Aside from AMSA, she is involved in the Pre-PA Association, an ambassador for the International Scholars Program, a volunteer at Shands, and a member of the Women's Club Basketball team. Outside of school, Paige enjoys reading, playing sports with friends, and listening to music.

Shemsi Keyhani
Shemsi is an Applied Physiology and Kinesiology major in the UF honors program on the pre-medical track. She is currently volunteering as a CNA at Helping Hands Clinic, a Patient Escort at Bread and Roses, and an undergraduate teaching assistant for Chemistry 1 and 2. Shemsi is currently doing research on muscle fatigue as it relates to tremors. She loves to be with her friends and family, cook, and practice yoga.
